Sesungguhnya perjalanan seorang daei itu sangat panjang dan melelahkan. Ketika itu org lalai akan hairan melihat daei menyengsarakan diri dlm kelelahan & bertanya "sampai bila kau akan melelahkan diri?". Dijawab daei dgn pasti, "sebenarnya aku mengharapkan pengistirehatan (syurga)" al-Fawaid-Ibnu Qayyim.
Hope this can motivate me too. And probably this too...

Margaret says people assume it must be harder to go blind later in life. “But I am pleased to have had my sight because at least I know what things look like. For example I know what colours are.” Even though her own blindness demanded some major adjustments, she believes she has been luckier than people who have been blind since birth. “I have a great deal of respect for them because they just get on with their lives. A lot of blind people are out working, at university, doing all sorts of things.”

At least you are not blind. Or at least you are NOT now. Probably you will in the future. Who knows?? Maybe sebab diabetes gak ke. Sebab trauma accident ke, nasty infection ke, glaucoma ke... nauzubillah. But who knows. Only Allah knows. Tu baru mata. Belum seluruh nyawa… huhu
Bersyukurlah dengan apa yang ada sekarang dan berbuat lah yang terbaik untuk diri sendiri semantara masa masih ada. Kalau dah time up, hmmm rugi sangat-sangat. Tak guna nak menyesal.
Semoga kita semua dalam kekuatan dan kemanisan istiqamah iman dan amal yang berpanjangan sehingga ke akhirnya… ameeennn.
